The Coa Museum opens its doors to Science

The Côa Museum – Live Science Center participates in the official program of Science and Technology Week:

  • November 26th, 2:30 pm: Visit the technical wing of the Coa Museum. In parallel to the visit to the Coa Museum’s permanent exhibition, the backstage of the Museum will be shown, as the equipment that makes the building operate, also addressing the architecture project of the Museum.
  • November 28, 10:30 am and 3:00 pm: Experimental Archeology Workshops. Interpretation of Upper Paleolithic daily life: identification of raw materials, hunting weapons, fire production, and interpretation of engraving and painting techniques.
  • November 29, 2:30 pm: Open Doors at the Archeology Lab. Archaeological reserves from archaeological campaigns are analyzed by the Coa Parque Foundation specialists responsible for the conservation, cleaning, and marking of excavation materials as well as the reconstitution of lithic pieces, production of replicas or pedagogical workshops.
