From March 14th to June 30th 2019, the Côa Museum presents the exhibition “Cantabria Rupestre and much more: Territories united by the First Art”, conceived by the Regional Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria, to make known to the Portuguese the great tourist destinations of that Spanish region: the Museums of Altamira, Museum of Prehistory and Archeology of Cantabria (MUPAC) and the caves of Monte Castillo, El Pendo, Hornos de la Peña, Covalanas, Cullalvera, Sopeña-Salitre II and Chufín.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by a delegation of the regional government, headed by the Councilor Francisco Fernández Mañanes.
