From September 21 to December 10, 2019, discover the exhibition “Art’s DNA” by Marcela Navascués.
Marcela Navascués was born in 1967 in Irun (Guipuzcoa), Spain. Its first beginnings in the creative world were in the field of photography and video production, combining these activities with the restoration of folk art furniture. But it was in 1998 that he discovered his true artistic vocation. From this moment on, it has held about 100 exhibitions, both solo and group, mainly in Spain and Portugal.
She has participated in International Fairs such as Arco (Spain), ArtCologne (Germany), ArtLisboa (Portugal), MilanArt (Italy), ArtMadrid (Spain), Lille2004ARTevent (France).
She has been invited to make installations in institutions such as the Alberto Sampaio Museum (Portugal), Chirivella-Soriano Foundation (Spain), Amélia Moreno Foundation (Spain), Medinaceli DeArte Foundation (Spain). She was a fellow at Casa de Velazquez (Spain).
His works are in both public and private collections.
