For the celebration of European Day of Prehistoric Rock Art, the Côa Museum is opening the exhibition *Poetics of Light – The Revelation of Colour* at 4.30 pm in the Auroque Room.

 

This exhibition pays tribute to Lara Bacelar Alves (1973-2025), her legacy and her perspective on post-Palaeolithic prehistoric rock art. It brings together seven photographs and an artist film produced by Antony Lyons, as part of the LandCRAFT project, revealing a geopeotic drift and the iconography of a sub-naturalist and schematic tradition in the Côa Valley.
