The ART&TUR Festival has achieved a high international recognition, thanks to the quality and quantity of films that it distinguishes annually, as well as its integration in a worldwide network of similar festivals: the CIFFT (International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals) that annually elects the best tourism film worldwide, among all the films that travel the international circuit of 14 festivals.

Since 2018, the rights of ART&TUR have been transferred from APTUR to the Centre de Portugal Film Commission (CPFC).Associated with this change, and thanks to an agreement between the CPFC and the ERT Centro de Portugal, the ART&TUR Festival will henceforth be held in the Central Region, with an itinerant nature touring the various municipalities of Central Portugal.

During an evening of winners, the Côa won 3 prizes at the national contest:

1st prize, in the Art & Creativity category with the documentary “O Nascimento da Arte”.
1st prize, in the Cultural Tourism category with the promotional film “Côa Valley”.
2nd prize, in the Culture & Heritage category with the Sic journalistic piece “O Regresso ao Vale do Côa”.

A real pride and challenge to keep working and promote the great heritage of the Côa Valley.

The Côa Park Foundation congratulates Luís Pedro Martins, for the film “The Majestic Adventures of Ofélia de Souza”, presented by Visit Porto and North of Portugal, the big winner of the night, winning, among others, the Grand Prize in the national and international competitions.
