Tribute to the Côa Valley Rock Art at the National Museum of Archaeology

After being exhibited at the Museu do Côa in 2019, the exhibition Tribute to the Engravings of Vale do Côa now visits the National Museum of Archaeology in Lisbon. In May 1995, during the troubled period of the struggle for the preservation of the Côa Valley rock art, many initiatives were initiated, many voices were heard, public figures – political and artistic, who joined this cause. The publisher Assírio & Alvim, for its unique characteristics, was, at the time, one of those centers that aggregated ideas, debates and initiatives. (Read more)
