Dovecotes and Rural Landscape in the Coa Valley

The territory of the Coa is one of the areas in the northern interior of the national territory with the highest number of dovecotes, possessing about three hundred of these types of buildings spread over a territory of 200 square kilometers. During a visit to the dovecote located on the slope of the Museum of Coa, their role in the economic, social and cultural life of the region will be illustrated.
The 2km walk on a mountain trail to the dovecote, is followed by a visit the Coa Valley rock art, testimony of the oldest art form in the world, Paleolithic Art.
