From September 28 to December 9 2019, the Côa Museum exhibits “The Artist of the Moment: The Paleolithic Man”, which brings together a selection of cartoons by Luís Afonso, a contributor to the newspaper Público, about the Côa controversy. This process culminated in the inscription of the rock art on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1998.

The author will be present at the inauguration which is part of the European Heritage Days program.
