International Heritage Summer School (IHSS 2020) is a laboratory learning experience, merging theoretical contributions to observation, interpretation and methodological recording of landscape. The Douro Region, Portugal, is a territory marked by multiple issues that allow a multidisciplinary approach.
Landscape is an individual perception and a living space, not only a contemplative space. Landscape is the community’s sense of belonging and its transformations and changes that are developed through time summoning the relationship of human beings with their territory.
The IHSS 2020 assign 6 ECTS credits.*
