From March 14 to June 30, the Côa Museum hosts the exhibition “Cruzeiro Seixas: in the Labyrinths I Invented”, curated by Alexandra Silvano, with pieces from several entities widely recognized, nationally and internationally, among which the Calouste Foundation Gulbenkian, the Cupertino de Miranda Foundation, the Vista Alegre Museum, the São Mamede Gallery, the António Prates Gallery, the Perve Galeria / Casa da Liberdade – Mário Cesariny and the Portuguese Screen Printing Center.
Author of a vast work in the field of drawing, painting, sculpture, objects but also poetry, Cruzeiro Seixas is today considered one of the highest exponents of surrealism. It is with the greatest works of the artist that the Côa Museum intends to materialize, establishing a dialogue, within the possible retrospective and comprehensive, of various moments of creation, challenging the public to embark on a voyage of discovery and dream.
