As part of UNESCO’s World Heritage classification of the Côa Rock Art and Alto Douro Wine Region, the Côa Park Foundation and the Douro Museum present the exhibition “CÔA DOURO: for a future memory”. This exhibition results from the collaboration between the Côa Park Foundation and the Douro Museum in a photographic collection project that focuses on the landscape and heritage of the world heritage territories of Douro Demarcated Region, Douro and Côa Valley. Thinking with the aim of creating a reference archive, in digital support, about the Douro space and time, includes the participation of the photographers Duarte Belo, Egídio Santos, Jaime António and Virgílio Ferreira.

The inauguration of the exhibition is scheduled for 2 December, 6.30 p.m., at the Côa Museum, and it will be present the Culture Director of the North Region, PhD Laura Castro.

The exhibition will be open in Côa museum from December 2, 2021 to January 30, 2022.
