C\u00f4a Symposium &#8211; Climate Change and Human Adaptation: The Transition from the Pleistocene to the Holocene","description":"<p>The 3rd edition of the C\u00f4a Symposium will take place on December 5th and 6th, under the theme &#8220;Climate Change and Human Adaptation: The Transition from the Pleistocene to the Holocene.&#8221; This is a highly relevant topic, and the studies conducted in the C\u00f4a Valley can provide valuable contributions to the ongoing discussion.<\/p>\n<p>Since its inception in 2018, the C\u00f4a Symposium has aimed to present and discuss archaeological research topics, focusing on the art and archaeology of the C\u00f4a Valley, while contextualizing this valuable heritage within European scientific research.<\/p>\n<p>The 3rd edition will feature over 30 researchers from Portugal, Spain, and France, who will address three main subthemes: Paleoenvironment, Rock Art, and Human Occupation.<\/p>\n<p>The event is organized by the C\u00f4a Parque Foundation, UNIARQ &#8211; Center for Archaeology of the University of Lisbon, the Portuguese Archaeological Association, AC\u00d4A &#8211; Friends of the C\u00f4a Park and Museum, with the support of
