SUMMARY:II Live Science Festival of the Coa Valley
DESCRIPTION:The second edition of the Coa Valley Live Science Festival will take place in the municipality of Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo\, with more exhibition stands\, thematic workshops and moments of science sharing. \nAs part of the mission of Live Science to promote widespread access to scientific culture for the full exercise of citizenship\, the Côa Museum – Live Science Center\, the Live Science Agency\, the Open Science Platform and the Transhumance and Nature Association organize on the 17th and 18th of October\, at the Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo Municipal Market\, the II Live Science Festival. At the Festival a wide range of regional and national scientific institutions\, with the main objective of promoting contact between schools\, the community\, and partners in the region\, thus enhancing the future development of projects and activities\, will be present. \n

SUMMARY:Côa Valley Science Festival
DESCRIPTION:On the 15th and 16th of March\, the integration of the Côa Museum in the Network of Living Science Centers will be commemorated with a Science Festival. A project in partnership with the Living Science National Agency\, the Open Science Platform and the Transhumance and Nature Association\, which directly involves the municipalities and school groups of the municipalities of Vila Nova de Foz Côa\, Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo\, Pinhel and Meda. \nDuring two days the Town Square of Vila Nova de Foz Côa will be filled with workshops\, local products market and scientific activities promoted by national higher education institutions\, organizations that promote scientific activities\, other entities and local producers. \nIt will be the first of four Science Festivals in the Côa Valley that\, by the end of the year\, will cover the remaining municipalities of the Archaeological Park area. \nThe Minister of Science\, Technology and Higher Education and the President of the Living Science National Agency will attend the Festival.
