The Côa Park Foundation in collaboration with the Morph Group and the Polytechnic Institute of Guarda will teach the 8th Rock Art Guides of the Côa Valley course, between April and June, at the Côa Museum, located at Rua do Museu, Vila Nova de Foz Côa, from 9am-12:30pm/14h-17:30pm, in a total of approximately 230h.

The future Côa Valley Rock Art Guide is a professional able to perform the following functions

• Conducting visits in the Côa Museum and the Archaeological Park of the Côa Valley, different modalities;
• Collaboration in cultural and pedagogical activities promoted by the Educational Services / Ciência Viva;
• Support the scientific and administrative activities of the institution;
• Support thr maintenance services in the technical areas of the Côa Museum.

Admission criteria:

• Educational or professional experience in Tourism area (preferable);
• Motivational letter;
• Residency in the Archaeological Park area (municipalities of Vila Nova de Foz Côa, Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo, Pinhel, Mêda and Torre de Moncorvo) – preferential factor;
• Knowledge in languages: English (eliminatory factor), Spanish and French;
• Driver’s license (eliminatory factor);
• Availability to work in shifts and weekends (eliminatory factor).
